The scheme allows for a replacement boiler, if over 5 years old, or we will convert your existing one to mains gas (where possible). The boiler that will be installed is a Worcester Bosch 2000 25KW. This boiler comes with a 2 year parts and labour warranty via the manufacturer, however, we can offer an extended warranty of 5 years. If you have a cooker or gas hob and do not have the conversion kit then a replacement appliance will be installed, see below for details.
You should be aware that in order to maintain the boiler guarantee and for the safety/efficiency of its operation a boiler needs regular servicing. As a business we can offer this to all homeowners on the site whether we have installed a new boiler or have converted the existing one. The cooker which can be supplied free of charge will be the Montpellier Single Cavity Gas SCG50W/SCG60W Cooker with a 50cm or 60cm width version available depending on the width of your existing cooker.
This features an integrated four-burner hob and grill, one wire shelf and a grill pan. The cooker has a two-year manufacturer warranty.
The standalone hob which can be supplied is the Hotpoint Gas Hob PAN 642IX/H. This hob is 58cm wide and 51cm deep. The hob has a 10-year parts warranty.
Depending on the size of your existing hob it is possible that this hob may not fit flush in the exiting hole in your kitchen worktop. Cosmetic work to fill in any gaps is outside the scope of the available funding.
