Changing Boilers at Buckingham Palace

Changing Boilers at Buckingham Palace

Posted on June 30, 2017

AS PART of a £369-million budget approved by Parliament this month, domestic building and utility services at the Queen’s official London residence will be repaired and upgraded to a modern standard.

The Aura Heating central heating team are standing by, ready and waiting for a call-up to survey the current central heating and plumbing situation to help keep our monarch warm and toasty – with lashings of heat and hot water.

It has been widely reported for years that internal wiring, ancient rubber cabling, vital heating systems in the boiler room and related pipework have been deteriorating.

Built in 1703, the palace has recently been using a kind of combi-boiler system, described in the Daily Telegraph as ‘energy efficient combined heat and power units’. Aura Heating knows all about combi boilers.

No doubt the Royal household will be looking to cut their energy bills. And if they choose an Aura boiler such as from our ‘Royal’ Worcester range, we can offer a 12-year guarantee for money-saving units recommended by Which? Best Buys.

We would be delighted to be considered for the work and hope the current Keeper of the Privy Purse, Courtier Sir Alan Reid, might be in touch soon by our 24×7 ‘Live Chat’ service or give us a call on 02392 272151.

We look forward to hearing from you Ma’am or one of your team some time during the planned ten-year refurbishment.
