Aura steps in to fill funding gap for local charity

Posted on July 3, 2015

When our Managing Director, Gary Robinson, heard through his Round Table group that the local Havant & Waterlooville Division of KIDS was in jeopardy following council cuts he looked into it and decided it was a cause worth supporting.  As a result, he arranged for Aura Heating, Portsmouth Boiler Installers, to make a donation of £4000.00 which will safeguard the youth club and also pay for a couple of days out over the Summer.  Since the donation, KIDs have ensured that the project can continue for the next 12 months.

Who are KIDs?

KIDs is a national charity which cares for over 8,000 disabled children, young people and their families every year. As a national charity, they deliver an incredible 140 services all over England. These services include helping individuals to gain independence, social skills and self confidence. You can find out more about the KIDs charity by visiting their website here.
